Part of my story is depression. Sometimes fairly intense. And tonight was one of those nights where I was just going to go to bed early and "sleep it off." Before I headed up a tweet came through that read "This winter is heavy. So much record breaking snow and cold here in Minnesota. If you feel your mental health slipping don’t be afraid to check in. Your friends/ family love you, and we are here to help each other out."

So I sat down and picked up my guitar and played for a few minutes and this popped out. It's a first take 'demo' recording, but I like it. No, it isn't rocket science for music. But the lyrics are just basically saying you are never alone. Since it is harder for those in need to reach out, always check in on folks if you get a sudden urge. Those aren't moments of just coincidence. Like this, it wasn't coincidence. And as a result, I feel better.
